Kelsie was born and raised in Flagstaff County and recently moved back to the area after purchasing her childhood home. She is currently a teacher at Killam Public School and excited to join the Flagstaff Crafted business community and says "embracing life in rural communities is a great way to capitalize on resources and opportunities in the area." Kelsie recently finished a Master of Arts degree with a focus on Community Studies, and in that time she also started a small business. She finds the two compliment each other nicely and loves the idea of collaborating with other people, and taking small steps to boost the economic development in Flagstaff County. Long Lane Poultry started by selling and raising eggs and chicks, and opened their farm stand in April 2023. They sell farm fresh eggs, produce, plants, bread, and honey on a seasonal basis. The stand is open from April - October, and is located south of Sedgewick, Alberta. Long Lane Poultry aims to provide fresh, local products, so availability varies throughout the season.
