Jill Herbert (née Janzen) purchased the bakery in 2018 and has since nurtured it into the thriving business it is today. Located on Main Street in Lougheed, the bakery now employs five Flagstaff County residents and continues to grow through a passion for fresh baking, community connection, and local flavour. Each day, the bakery offers fresh yeast breads and buns, sourdough bread, donuts, rotating specials, Cookie of the Week features, and creative sourdough inclusions. Jill and her team are always finding new ways to bring exciting flavours and nostalgic favourites together for customers across the region. The bakery delivers to homes and businesses throughout the Flagstaff Region and proudly collaborates with several local storefronts, including Heisler General Store and Hardisty Fresh Market. It also supplies buns to Just Like Mum’s Catering and donates buns to the Flagstaff Players’ annual productions. Community support is at the heart of the bakery’s story. Jill and her team regularly contribute to fundraising auctions and are grateful to be part of Flagstaff County and the generous people who live, work, and support local here.
