Based north of Killam, AB, Bar Double Diamond business owner Bethany runs a small home-based sewing business. What started as a way to help her husband during uncertain times, has turned into something she has always dreamed about. Bethany grew up in a family of women who could sew pretty much anything, so all the sewing skills she attained over the years have come in pretty handy. Her husband is a cowboy and he had many buddies who, like him, couldn’t find wild rags that they liked, so they brought their ideas to Bethany and she created just what they were looking for. She loves originality and tries to keep her wild rags true to that, bringing in only 1 or 2 of the same fabric patterns at a time, so everyone gets their own “one of a kind” wild rag! She made her own personal promise to have minimal fabric waste, so she began making little things like scrunchies, lanyards and baby wild rags as well. Bethany loves making new connections and friendships through her little business and hopes to continue making these connections!
