A Rooster and 2 Chicks has been in business for 10 years. Every morning, 365 days a year, chores are done at 6:30 am. The Rooster is Brandon (19), and the 2 Chicks are Kara (15) and Jayde (12) - siblings. Grandma Janet Niehaus oversees the operation. Overtime and due to demand, they have increased their production and now raise 600 broilers and 80 turkeys per year. Although they're not certified organic, they raise their birds in a responsible manner and process them in a government approved facility. A Rooster and 2 Chicks feels that it is particularly important for people to connect with the food they eat and realize where it is coming from. Real food requires real work. They shop local and encourage all their followers to do the same.
