Hand-Stitched Leather & Photography by Kristen Haines

Kristen Haines is a maker, a horsewoman, a photographer, and above all, a mother to three imaginative and spirited children who inspire her every day. Living with her family on a small hobby farm in eastern Alberta, Kristen draws creative energy from the land around her and the life they’ve built together — complete with horses, mules, chickens, and a busy workshop where craft and imagination thrive. Through Luna Goods, Kristen offers two distinct but deeply connected art forms: hand-stitched leather bags and documentary-style photography. Her leatherwork is made slowly and intentionally by hand, built to last and designed to move beautifully with its wearer. Each piece reflects her commitment to craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless design. Her photography, on the other hand, is an invitation to pause and witness beauty in the everyday — in the way light touches skin, fabric catches the wind, or a glance becomes something unforgettable. Blending thoughtful styling with a natural, documentary approach, Kristen creates visually rich stories that feel both artistic and authentic. Creativity is woven into family life at Luna Goods. Her children are often by her side, learning, helping, and creating right along with her. From stitching leather to making templates and playing with cameras, they are learning firsthand that passion and profession can coexist — and that creativity knows no bounds. Now opening her books to new clients, Kristen welcomes the opportunity to work with those who value connection, intention, and a deep love of handmade artistry. Whether you’re looking for a beautifully crafted leather bag or soulful photography, Luna Goods offers a piece of her world — built with care, rooted in love, and made to last.
