The Flagstaff Scottish Club is a dynamic group of individuals with varying degrees of Scottish descent, who have come together to celebrate the Scottish culture. Within the FSC is the Battle River Pipes and Drums Band (BRPDB), with 25+ band members playing pipes and 3 types of drums. They host 3 main events each year; Robbie Burns Dinner & Dance, Highland Fling, and Gathering of the Clans Highland Festival (GOTCHF). In addition to these events, they also provide a number of volunteer services as fundraisers for the club, such as DDing, bartending, and security. They collaborate with several local businesses throughout the year. The Gathering of the Clans Highland Festival is their largest event featuring various artisan vendors within a 'vendor village'.The Flagstaff Scottish club includes members from various parts of East Central Alberta, such as Camrose, Coronation, Wainwright, and Lloydminister.
