Meet Lois. A wife, mother of 3, personal trainer, fitness instructor, and holistic weight loss coach. Lois lives on a small farm just outside of Lougheed, AB, and has chosen her home, the Flagstaff Region, to run her business, to help those she knows. Lois has always had a strong passion for fitness and nutrition. She was one of those kids that took part in every sport she could growing up including cross country running. Her passion is to be able to help people realize their worth, build their self-confidence & help them achieve fitness and nutrition goals they may think are unachievable. In 2019 she completed her fitness and nutrition certification and then right away followed that up with her holistic weight loss certification. Over the past year, she has been running boot camp classes at the Lougheed Fieldhouse & throughout the summer at the Lougheed Trout pond. These classes are now done over zoom and will return to outside classes once the weather permits! Lois strives to keep her classes fun, exciting, and a completely judge-free environment. These classes are inclusive to every fitness level, as she offers variations for every exercise! Bootcamp classes currently run every Thursday at 7:00 pm. All you need is a set of dumbbells & a yoga mat (the mat is optional). The classes are 45-60 mins long. Every Tuesday at 10:00 am she offers a 30-minute bodyweight class over zoom. No weights required, a yoga mat is optional. These classes will run through until the end of February. More information on pricing, updates, etc for these classes can be found in the Facebook group called Cicada Online Fitness. Lois offers personal training sessions by the hour. These can be done at the Lougheed Fieldhouse if you have a membership there or over zoom. She also offers 8 or 12-week programs that are personalized specifically to you. In this program, you will have the opportunity to dive into your life a bit deeper to focus on exercise, nutritional coaching, macro tracking, and meal planning. You will also have a weekly check-in via zoom to make sure you are inline with your goals & discuss any concerns etc that you may have. Lois offers group fitness classes outside of her regular boot camp and bodyweight classes. These are available over zoom as well. If you have some friends or family that you would love to work out with but can never meet up at the same location, this is a fantastic way to get your workout in all together from wherever you are. Group rates vary depending on the number of people. There are so many other things in our life that can affect our weight and well being other than just exercise & nutrition. With holistic weight loss coaching, you along with Lois will dive a bit deeper into your life. While you will still focus on exercise & nutrition, Lois will look at other aspects such as sleep, stress, outside factors, mindset etc. This program is offered as an 8 or 12-week program as well.
