Herbal Roots with Carrie Herbal Roots with Carrie is a clinical herbal practice and botanical dispensary located in Daysland, Alberta, owned and operated by Carrie Carriere, Registered Herbalist RH (AHA). Carrie offers personalized consultations in clinical herbalism and phytotherapy, supporting individuals with a wide range of health concerns. Her particular areas of interest include metabolic and inflammatory health, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, chronic pain, and persistent or complex health concerns. Her approach combines Western herbalism with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) assessment principles, drawing on her knowledge of human physiology, traditional botanical practices, and current research. During consultations, Carrie takes time to understand each client's health history, symptoms, medications, and relevant laboratory findings. From there, she develops a personalized care plan that may include botanical formulations, nutritional guidance, and practical lifestyle recommendations. An important part of her practice is her in-house botanical dispensary, where Carrie develops and prepares personalized herbal formulations based on each client's needs and health goals. These include custom tincture blends, herbal infusions, glycerites, topical oils, salves, and other botanical preparations. Each formulation is thoughtfully developed with attention to botanical properties, therapeutic goals, individual health needs, and safety. Dispensary services are available to existing clients, members of the public through a brief dispensary access consultation, and clients referred by other healthcare practitioners. This provides access to professionally formulated preparations while maintaining the personalized care and attention that are central to her practice. Born and raised in the Flagstaff Region, Carrie values the opportunity to build her practice in the community she has always called home.
