Double Z Meats is a family run provincial meat plant located just outside of Strome, AB. Meat cutting and sausage making has been a part of this family for many generations and it is their hope to keep the tradition going. The majority of their business is custom cutting and wild game processing. In 1996 they built an abattoir and in 1997 they officially became a provincially licensed abattoir. The Double Z Meats shop has a small retail area and a meat box program. Helping customers design unique products for farmer's markets and farm sales is something they enjoy doing.
